Yes, I know that this has a yellow tinge, but my flash did not go off, and I liked it, so I didn't want to fix the flash, then lose the perfect shot. So deal, haha.
Sunday wasn't bad. It was boring, but they usually are ^^ We had Shepard's pie for dinner which was incredibly good. See, I love food. I love to cook it, eat it, whatever. Even though a lot of the time, I can't eat it because of my diet, haha. Oh well. But it was sooooo good!
DV had bowling Sunday from 6 and got home around 10.30. So he texted me and then called so we could take for a little while before going to bed. It was nice. I like it when he calls me. And you know... I know that DV likes me for... well, me. Not for who I was, or who I could be... Who I am now. And that makes me so happy that he doesn't care about my past. He's taking things slow and keeps me in mind.
(And he just IMed me) Wow, I'm lucky. He's making me actually start to believe that I am beautiful again and my weight is fine. And that makes me feel so good... To be comfortable with how I look... :D I'm happy with him.

19/07/2007 (Day 231) - Inappropriate Reward





As you may or may not know I'm trying to lose some weight. I'm also trying to do it with minimal effort; no special diets or thrice-weekly sessions at the gym for me. I'm just trying to fit in more light exercise (walking at lunch-time mostly) and ruthlessly cutting out my snacking habit. And it's working; over the last few weeks I've lost 10 lbs (4.5 kg), which is pretty good going.

For the last week or so I have been trying to edge from 11s 4lb to 11s 3lb. Catherine told me that if I made that target weight I would get a Cadbury's Flake.

I did it today. I will enjoy my Flake, happy in the knowledge that it'll probably put me back to 11s 4lb by tomorrow :-)

Update: The Flake was Ok, but I'd forgotten that they are, quite frankly, a bit crap. Still, chocolate is chocolate ...

Update: 03/08/2007; two weeks on and I'm down to 10s 13 lbs. I'm shifting weight at a rate of about 2lbs a week ...
